The Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce is currently accepting sponsors for the 2012 Fall Festival and Chili and Salsa Cook-Off, which will be held on the downtown square in Cassville on Saturday, Oct. 27.
"Our Chili and Salsa Cook-Off sponsors are the backbone to this event," said Mindi Artherton, chamber executive director. "The chamber is a non-for-profit organization that runs on limited funding. Therefore, sponsorship dollars make it possible for us to have events such as the Chili Cook-off.
"Sponsorship money covers expenses such as advertising, prize money, supplies for our tasting kits, supplies for the chili judging and other miscellaneous items that are needed when you are putting on a large event such as the cook-off," said Artherton. "Without the support of our sponsors, this event would not be such a success for our chamber and our business community. I can't say thank you enough to those that sponsor this fun annual event."
Sponsorships range from $50 to $200. Businesses that serve as $50 sponsors will be listed on the back of event T-shirts and recognized on event signage and in the October chamber newsletter.
Those that serve as $100 sponsors will be listed on the chamber website in October and be recognized verbally over the public address system during the event.
In addition to the benefits listed above, businesses that sign up as $200 sponsors will have the opportunity to place their logo on the chamber website and newsletter in October, receive a 20-second announcement during the event and create a chili award category for the cook-off.
The following businesses have already signed up to serve as sponsors for this year's Fall Festival: Arning Companies; Barry Electric Cooperative; Commerce Bank; Fastrip; Freedom Bank; Hutchens Construction; Security Bank; All Points Recycling; Angel and Company CPA, PC; Centurylink; Latco; Les Jacobs Ford; Runnels Chiropractic; Shelter Insurance; Barry County Farm Bureau; Barry County Abstract and Title; Brattin Insurance; and Willis Insurance.
