Vivian Gay (Bradley) Evans, 66, of Cassville, passed away Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield.

She was born in March 16, 1946, in Seattle, Wash., the daughter of Melvin Aubrey and Naomi Hattie (Nickle) Bradley. In 1964, at Cassville, she was united in marriage to Weldon "Johnny" Leonard Evans and to this union one daughter was born.

Survivors include: her daughter, Kerensa Evans, of Cassville; one granddaughter; two brothers, John Bradley and his wife, Bridget "Bridie," of Aurora, and Mark Bradley and his wife, Carol, of Ft. Smith, Ark.; and one sister, Bea Henson and her husband, James "Jimmy," of Marionville.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one sister, Linda Adams.

She grew up in Barry County and was a graduate of Exeter High School. She continued her education at Grayson County College in Sherman, Texas, and graduated with a degree in nursing. In 1990, she moved back to Cassville and worked at Cox South in the NICU. She was a member of Community of Christ in Aurora.

Memorial services were held Sunday in Community of Christ, Aurora. Pastor Deborah Henson and Elder Bruce Larson conducted the services.

Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society in her memory.

Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
