R-6 School District achieves Total Fleet Excellence

Wednesday, August 22, 2012
The Exeter R-6 School District's transportation department achieved a Total Fleet Excellence Award during the district's 2012 school bus inspection process. The award, which is presented by the Motor Vehicle Inspection Division, is given to Missouri school districts that achieve a 90 percent or higher approval rating during inspections. "In our district, 100 percent of buses must pass inspection without concerns," said Dr. Ernest Raney, superintendent. "This rating is achieved because of the attention to detail and ongoing maintenance that is performed by our staff. We are committed to the provision of safe transportation of our students and will continue to strive for excellence in this area for the safety and wellbeing of our students."
