Shell Knob man injured in crash

A Shell Knob man was injured in a weekend crash that occurred at 3:15 a.m. on Sunday on Fish n Fun Road east of Viola.

The crash occurred when the driver of a 1994 Chevrolet pickup truck, Christopher J. Fox, 27, of Shell Knob, ran off the road and struck a fence and a tree.

Fox was taken by private vehicle to Mercy Hospital in Berryville, Ark., with serious injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt.
