The Shell Knob Alliance of Churches was able to expand its back-to-school efforts this year. Donations allowed the group to provide a complete set of school supplies for each Shell Knob student. "The whole community donates to the project all year," said Becky Davison, who assisted with the effort. "The group has always provided a complete set of clothing, shoes and school supplies for every family that applies for assistance." This includes students who live in the Shell Knob area and attend the Cassville and Blue Eye high schools. "This is the first year we have been able to provide school supplies for everybody at Shell Knob," said Davison. The Shell Knob School provided the group with supply lists for each grade level, and numerous volunteers worked to gather and pack the supplies for the students. School supplies were provided for a total of 148 Shell Knob students this year. Several of the volunteers who helped pack school supplies are pictured above.
