Cassville High School will offer freshman and new student orientation at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 9. All students who are new to the high school are encouraged to attend the event with their parents.
Freshman students who pre-registered can pick up class schedules and locker assignments during the orientation.
Students who will be new to the high school this fall can register from 9 to 11:30 a.m. or 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2 or Friday, Aug. 3.
The following items will be needed in order to complete registration: birth certificate; Social Security card; immunization record; proof of residency; and copies of court documents pertaining to guardianship or parental rights if the student does not live with a legal parent.
Proof of residency can include a utility deposit, property tax statement, current loan agreement, rent receipt, legal property description or a telephone bill. A parent or guardian should accompany the student during registration.
Sophomore, junior and senior students who pre-registered in the spring can pick up schedules and locker assignments at the high school during the following times: seniors, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7; juniors from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7; and sophomores, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8.
Students will not be allowed to pick up schedules for other individuals without written permission.
