Clifford Ray Woolman, III, 26, of Aurora, passed away Friday, July 27, 2012, in an automobile accident east of Monett.
He was born Dec. 31, 1985, in McKinney, Texas, the son of Clifford "J.R." Woolman, Jr. and Penny (Hall) Woolman. On Oct. 7, 2006, in Springfield, he was united in marriage to Erica Stever, who survives.
Additional survivors incude: one son, Landan Heithold, of the home; one daughter, Sakiya Woolman, of the home; his father and stepmother, J.R. and Kim Woolman, of Ava; his mother and stepfather, Penny and Gerald Gaston, of Rhome, Texas; one brother, Chris Woolman, of Ava; one sister, Cindy Howerton, and her husband, William, of Rhome, Texas; and grandparents, Clifford and Wanda Woolman and Brent and Louella Hall.
Preceding him in death was a grandmother, Elda Faye Medlock.
He was a graduate of Ava High School in Ava. He had worked for Wells Aluminum in Monett as a fabricator and was in the process of becoming a fireman for the Joplin Fire Department. He had recently moved from Republic to Aurora to make his home and was currently a volunteer with the Republic Fire Department.
Cremation arrangements were under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
