Winners announced for Purdy Festival Car Show

Winners have been announced from the car show held as part of the 2012 Purdy Festival on July 21.

Best of Show honors went to Tad and Ladonna Daily for their 1956 Chevrolet Belair.

Honors for the top antique car were awarded to Don and Pat Neill for their 1957 Chevrolet. The runner-up was a 1940 Chevrolet owned by Bill and Trix Long.

The top antique truck was a 1948 Chevrolet shown by Mattie White. The runner-up was shown by Steve Roden.

Winning the classic car division was Mike Henderson with a 1968 Camaro. Taking second place was Tony Hudson's 1971 Oldsmobile Cutless convertible.

The top classic truck was shown by Jerry and Rebecca Thomas. Second place honors went to Colby Lakey.

In the modern class, E.R. Robberson took top honors for his Corvette. Landon Terry took second with his 2003 Mach 1 Mustang,

Winning top motorcycle honors was Scott Redshaw, with second place going to Johnathon Shaner.
