High school students who are new to the Cassville R-4 School district will have the opportunity to register at the high school on Thursday, Aug. 2 and Friday, Aug. 3.
Registration hours are from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 2:30 p.m. A parent or guardian should accompany the student to registration.
New students should bring the following items with them: a birth certificate; a Social Security card; an immunization record; proof of residency; and copies of any court documents pertaining to guardianship or parental rights if the student does not live with a parent.
Proof of residency can include a utility deposit, a property tax statement, a current loan agreement, a rent receipt, a legal property description or a telephone bill.
Sophomore, junior and senior high school students who pre-registered in the spring will have the opportunity to pick up class schedules and locker assignments at the high school office during the following times: seniors, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7; juniors, from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7; and sophomores, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8.
Individuals cannot pick up schedules for others without written consent.
Freshman and new student orientation will be held at the high school at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 9. Students who pre-registered can also obtain their schedules and locker assignments during the orientation event.
