SUPPORT GROUP: Anyone who is concerned about a friend's or loved one's drinking is invited to attend the Cassville Al-Anon Family Group, which meets at 8 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Cassville.

PROGRAM: The Cassville Branch Library will conclude its summer reading program with a program featuring the storytelling of Frisco Jack at 1:30 p.m. All participants are invited to attend. Preschoolers will conclude the summer program with a party at 10:30 a.m.

SPECIAL EVENT: The Shell Knob Branch Library will conclude its summer reading program with a pool party and barbecue at the Cassville Aquatic Center from 7 to 9 p.m. All participants are invited to attend.

MEETING: The Barry County Small Business Owners Network will meet at Nickle's Flooring on Highway 112 in Cassville at 7:30 a.m. Stuart Ward, of CBI-Sunbelt Acquisitions and Mergers, will be the special guest speaker.

SPECIAL EVENT: Employer Link will hold an open house and luncheon at the Monett Job Center, located at 100 S. Maple St., beginning at 11 a.m. Jeff Meridith, the new executive director of the Monett Chamber of Commerce, will be the guest speaker. The Seligman Chamber of Commerce will hold a mini hot rod pull at Ruby's Event Park on Highway 37 south of Seligman at 8 p.m. Adult admission is $7. Children ages 6 to 12 will be admitted for $3, and children under 5 will be admitted at no cost. For more information, call 417-662-3612.
