A total of 10 Cassville FFA members attended the State FFA Leadership Camp held from July 2 through July 6 at Camp Rising Sun in Lake of the Ozarks State Park. Those attending are pictured above. In the front row, from left, are: State FFA officers. Second row: Marissa Simmons, Kaylee Hudson, Kreyton Blisard and Taner Wright. Third row: Levi Ruark, Natasha Webb, Will Edmondson, Preston Farmer, Colton Dilbeck and Stussy Stephenson. Leadership Camp provides leadership training for over 1,200 high school FFA members across the state. State FFA officers and a leadership director, who is a past State FFA officer, train students in how to overcome obstacles and develop communication and personal skills. The national FFA organization makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. Nationally, there are over 500,000 FFA members. Missouri ranks fourth in the nation with over 24,000 FFA members.
