SUPPORT GROUP: Anyone who is concerned about a friend's or loved one's drinking is invited to attend the Cassville Al-Anon Family Group, which meets at 8 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Cassville.

OPEN HOUSE: The Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce will hold an open house at its office on Main Street in Cassville from 8 to 10 a.m. All area community members are invited to attend to view the renovations that were completed at the office this year.

CLASS: The Cassville Senior Center will offer a paint class at 9 a.m.

SPECIAL EVENT: The Cassville Branch Library will hold its annual summer reading program pool party at the Cassville Aquatic Center from 7 to 9 p.m. All participants are invited to attend.

FUN AND GAMES: The Cassville Senior Center will offer fun and games at 12:30 p.m.

PROGRAM: The Purdy Branch Library will conclude its teen summer reading program with a wrap up party at 3 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to make duct tape photo frames, receive prizes and enjoy refreshments. For more information, call 417-442-7314.

MOVIE: The Cassville Branch Library will offer the family movie "The Seeker" at 4 p.m. Attendees are invited to bring their own snacks.

FESTIVAL: The Purdy Festival will be held at the Purdy School and park beginning at 10 a.m. The event will offer a chicken barbecue, amusement rides, a veteran memorial dedication, a veteran reception and a performance by Tequila, Lime, No Salt.

BLOOD DRIVE: Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will hold a blood drive at Country Fresh Market on Highway 39 South in Shell Knob from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
