Aaron Lee Poston, 49, of Shell Knob, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, from injuries received in an accident at the intersection of "YY" and Highway 39 in Shell Knob.
He was born on Feb. 12, 1963, son of Dall and Bertie May Poston, in American Fork, Utah. He lived in numerous places including California before moving to Shell Knob in 1996. He was a master mechanic and worked at the James River Power Station in Springfield. He has always enjoyed restoring classic muscle cars and later started restoring motorcycles. He married Rina Hill on March 14, 1983, in Arizona. She survives.
Additional survivors include: one son, Cory Poston and his wife, Nichole, of Ridgedale; two daughters, Ashley Russell and her husband, Kirk, of Shell Knob, and Megan Poston, of the home; two grandchildren; his parents, Dall and Bertie May Poston, of Statesville, N.C.; two brothers, David Poston and his wife Brenda, of the state of Washington, and Willie Poston, of Statesville, N.C.; three sisters, Becky Poston, of Clyde, Texas, Liz Poston, of New London, Calif., and Geneva Miller and her husband, Gary, of Statesville, N.C.; his father- and mother-in-law, Fred and Ria Hill, of Shell Knob; three brothers-in-law, Pete Theodos, Carl Hill and Jeff Hill; and four sisters-in-law, Patty Jones, Chrissy Pierce, Joy Lynn Johnson and Julie Johnson.
Services were held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Shell Knob, on Monday with Dale Russell officiating.
