Barry County residents who have moved since the last time they voted must update their information at the Barry County Clerk's office before the primary election on Aug. 7. Missouri law requires voters to vote at the precinct in which they currently live.
Voters who do not update their information prior to election day will be required to complete a new voter registration card. Election judges must also call the county clerk's office to verify that the individual still votes at the same polling location before he or she will be allowed to cast a ballot.
Area voters are invited to visit the county clerk's office to update their information. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
For more information or to check to see if address information on file is correct, call the county clerk's office at 847-2762.
