Dema "Parlee" Lloyd, 79, of Washburn, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012, in her home.
She was born Jan. 22, 1933, in Washburn, the daughter of Vadis Lee and Velma (Henry) Morgan. On June 2, 1976, in Washburn, she was united in marriage to Randal Lloyd, who preceded her in death on March 13, 1978. Also preceding her in death were her parents; three brothers, James, Richard and Larry Morgan; and two sisters, Geneva Henry and Bonnie Coin.
Survivors include: two daughters, Wanda Cagle and her husband, Roy, of Joplin, and Tena O'Brien and her husband, Terry, of Bella Vista, Ark.; two brothers, Clint Morgan, of El Reno, Okla., and Danny Morgan and his wife, Edie, of Washburn; two sisters, Imogene Arnold and Freda Plumb, both of Cassville; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She grew up in Washburn and received her education in the Shady Grove School House. She was a life-long resident of Washburn and was a homemaker. She was a long-time member of Washburn Church of Christ. She was a member of VFW and American Legion Auxiliary, where she had been sergeant at arms.
Funeral services were held Saturday in Washburn Church of Christ under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Ken West conducted the services. Burial was at Dent Cemetery, Seligman.
