SUPPORT GROUP: Anyone who is concerned about a friend's or loved one's drinking is invited to attend the Cassville Al-Anon Family Group, which meets at 8 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Cassville.

PROGRAM: The Cassville Branch Library will hold the preschool summer reading program Night Owls at 10:30 a.m., and the summer reading program Big Dreams Plus Big Science Equals Heno Head at 1:30 p.m.

SPECIAL EVENT: The Seligman Chamber of Commerce will hold an auction at the chamber event center on Highway 37 north of Seligman at 5:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the chamber.

FUN AND GAMES: The Cassville Senior Center will offer fun and games at 12:30 p.m.

SPECIAL EVENT: The Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce will hold Friday Squared on the downtown square in Cassville. The pre-show block party will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. "Goonies" will be shown on the outdoor big screen at dark.


Saturday, July 14

CRUISE-IN: The Cassville Cruisers car club will hold a cruise-in at the Barry County Museum on Highway 112 south of Cassville from 5 p.m. to dark. All community members are invited to attend.

PROGRAM: The Purdy Branch Library will offer a program featuring John Archer, antiques expert, at 11 a.m. Area community members are invited to bring antiques to the event. For more information, call 417-442-7314.
