Helen Virginia Munday, 80, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Monday, June 25, 2012, at her home.

She was born in Cassville, on Aug. 2, 1931, the daughter of William Henry and Lilly Bell (Shoop) Gautney. On May 27, 1950, in Cassville, she was united in marriage to Orville Allen Munday, who preceded her in death on Sept. 30, 1970. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Billy Gautney.

Survivors include: two sons, Randall Lynn "Randy" Munday and his wife, Jean, of Cassville, and Michael Allen "Mike" Munday, of Shell Knob; one daughter, Mickey Helen Munday, of Pineville; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She grew up and received her education at Cassville. She went to beauty school to become a hairdresser and later went to Vo Tech in Springfield for continuing education.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, in Mano Cemetery, Mano, under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Brother Bob Neeley will conduct the services.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., today (Wednesday) in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
