Truck and tractor pull to be held July 3

American Legion Post #118 will host the Kenny Robbins Truck and Tractor Pull at the American Legion Grounds on Highway 112 in Cassville on Tuesday, July 3. The pull will begin at 7 p.m.

Attendees should bring their lawn chairs. No alcoholic beverages will be allowed at the event. The truck and tractor pull sled will be provided by Spring River Pulling Association.

Competitors who are members of the Spring River Pulling Association will be able to participate in the event for $15. Other competitors will be charged a $20 entry fee.

The event will offer 23 pulling classes. Prize money will be awarded to the first, second and third place competitors in each class. Tractors and pickups can only be entered in two classes.

The event will offer the following classes: stock tractor; showroom stock pickup; four-wheel drive pickup; super farm tractor; two-wheel drive pickup; street stock pickup small block; street stock pickup big block; modified tractor; diesel pickup; pro street pickup; pro stock and super stock tractors; hot farm tractor; division three pickup; open tractor; and open pickup.

The pulling competition will also offer a combined class, which will feature pro stock, pro field and super farm tractors.

Admission costs for the truck and tractor pull will be $10 per person. Children who are under the age of 12 will be admitted at no cost.
