Farmers' market offered in Shell Knob

Weather permitting, a farmers' market is held at Old Church Gallery in Shell Knob from 8 to 11 a.m. each Thursday. Currently, blueberries and blackberries are still available. Sweet corn could begin appearing at the market this week. Other produce available includes: tomatoes; snow peas; lettuce; spinach; beets; red, gold and purple potatoes; broccoli; yellow squash; zucchini; and onions. Vendors also offer dairy products, dip and tea mixes, baked goods, jams and jellies, eggs, honey and an assortment of crafts and beauty products. Concessions of homemade ice cream with strawberry topping, fresh hot succotash and cold sodas are available when the market is open.
