"We want to be a good reflection on the businesses we serve," said Gary Whyte, chamber board president. "By bringing this office up to date we are showing that we care about the impression we make on those visiting Cassville."
"For a lot of tourists and potential residents, the chamber office is the first contact point in our community," said Mindi Artherton, chamber executive director. "Now, the chamber office is more inviting for visitors who come in."
In addition to enhancing the aesthetics of the chamber office, the renovation project created more storage space and improved the energy efficiency of the building.
"We have several committees and boards who meet in the chamber office," said Artherton. "The chamber board felt it was time to update the lighting in the building to make it more energy efficient and improve the atmosphere."
"We have a lot of information available in this office," said Whyte. "We wanted to create an area in the foyer that would allow visitors to easily find up-to-date information about our members."
Community members are invited to visit the chamber office to view the new improvements. The chamber will also hold an open house event from 8 to 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 19.
"Keith Speer and the staff at Repairs Unlimited are fully-insured, skilled professionals who completed our construction work in a timely and professional manner," said Artherton. "We are thrilled with the results and appreciate Repairs Unlimited taking on our project."
