Seligman teen injured in crash

A Seligman teen was injured in a weekend crash that occurred at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday on Highway DD about five miles west of Seligman.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when the driver of a 1992 Chevrolet Cavalier, Shelby L. Munday, 16, of Seligman, ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

Munday was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Cassville with minor injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.
