Mail drop boxes moved

Wednesday, May 30, 2012
Democrat Photo/Lindsay Reed On May 23, the United States Postal Service relocated the mail drop boxes from the southeast side of the Cassville Post Office to the back or west side of the facility. The change was made to make the drop boxes more accessible to drivers and safer for pedestrians using the crosswalk that connects the post office block to the downtown square. Post office customers interested in deposited mail in the drop box from the drivers' side of their vehicles should travel south on Townsend. Vehicles can pull off of Townsend at the drop box in order to deposit mail without hindering traffic on the street.
