Air Force Airman Benjamin Tyler Clere graduated from Lackland Air Force Base basic military training, in San Antonio, Texas, as an honor graduate on May 11. Clere graduated in the top 10 percent of his flight and is entitled to wear the Air Force Basic Training Honor Graduate ribbon for the rest of his Air Force career. In order to be considered as a honor graduate, Clere had to achieve the "Thunderbolt" physical fitness level during his final physical fitness test, average over 90 percent on all written examinations, never fail a graded inspection and never receive a negative mark in any written evaluation. Clere is continuing his training at Goodfellow AFB in Texas. The airman is a 2011 graduate of Cassville High School. He is the husband of Kayle Clere, of San Angelo, Texas, and the son of Tracy Buntin and the grandson of Georgia Fryar, both of Cassville.
