Shell Knob man injured in motorcycle crash
A Shell Knob man was injured in a motorcycle crash that occurred at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday on Highway 39 in Shell Knob.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when the driver of a 2007 Kawasaki, Jeffrey A. Parker, 53, began to skid while trying to avoid another vehicle in an intersection and overturned.
Parker was taken to Mercy Hospital Cassville with moderate injuries.
* A Bella Vista, Ark., man was injured in a single-vehicle crash that occurred at 11 a.m. on Thursday on Highway 112 about three miles south of Cassville. The crash occurred when the driver of a 2002 Jeep Laredo, Christopher A. Armsdorff, 31, ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned down an embankment. Armsdorff was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark., with minor injuries. He was wearing a seat belt.
*Two people were injured in a single-vehicle crash that occurred at 2:30 p.m. on Friday on Schifferdecker Road one mile north of Joplin. The crash occurred when the driver of a 2010 Kia Optima, Jonathan E. Rabourn, 40, of Cassville, went off the roadway and struck a tree. Both Rabourn and a passenger in the vehicle, Robin D. Struwe, 44, of Carl Junction, were taken to Mercy Hospital in Joplin with minor injuries.
