Fire and Thunder 2012 T-shirts go on sale Memorial Day weekend. This year, the Shell Knob Chamber of Commerce held a T-shirt design contest that attracted 49 entries. A committee of six narrowed the field to three finalists. The three chosen designs were displayed to the public for a final vote at the Shell Knob Home and Business Show in April. The winning entry, by Blue Eye High School junior Shanna Martin, depicts a night scene with fireworks exploding over the Shell Knob Bridge. The two other finalists were Shell Knob resident T.J. Gureski, with a tie-dyed theme, and Shell Knob Middle School student Randy Robbins, with a fishing bobber entry. Fireworks T-shirts will be available at the Shell Knob Chamber of Commerce, Country Fresh Market, Cabin Fever, Pla-Port, Jug 'n Plug, Williams Brothers Ski and Sports and other retail outlets.
