Wanda Faye Willyard, 80, of Golden, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012, in Mercy Hospital, Berryville, Ark.

She was born Oct. 16, 1931, in Eagle Rock, the daughter of Frank and Myrtle Belle (Skelton) Easley. On April 17, 1949, in Pleasant Hope, she was united in marriage to Shirley Austin Willyard, who preceded her in death on June 9, 2002. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Thomas Russell Willyard; one daughter, Connie D. Willyard; and one brother, Russell Ray Easley.

Survivors include: one son, Tim Willyard and his wife, Chris, of Cassville; one daughter, Gayle Pace and her husband, Kelly, of Berryville, Ark.; and two grandchildren.

She grew up in Barry County and graduated from Cassville High School. She was a homemaker all of her life. She had worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Golden and Berryville, Ark., for several years. She had been an active member of First Southern Baptist Church of Golden, since Nov. 8, 1950.

Funeral services were held Monday in First Southern Baptist Church of Golden under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Woody Fletcher and Pastor Bill Dudley conducted the services. Burial was at Viola Cemetery, Viola.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Viola Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
