Three people were injured in two separate wrecks that occurred last week.
Randy L. Allen, 30, of Cassville, was injured when the left front tire on the 1986 Autocar tractor-trailer cab he was driving sustained a blowout. The vehicle left the roadway and overturned. He was not wearing a seat belt.
The crash took place at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday on Highway 76 about two miles east of Cassville.
Allen was taken to Cox Hospital South in Springfield with moderate injuries.
Other wrecks
* Two people were injured when the 2008 Kawasaki ZX-10 they were riding crashed on Highway 86 about three miles north of Eagle Rock. The wreck occurred at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday when the driver of the motorcycle, Garrett J. Buzzard, 21, of Carthage, lost control on a curve and overturned in the roadway. The motorcycle skidded off the roadway and struck an embankment. Buzzard sustained minor injuries in the crash, and a passenger on the vehicle, Heather M. Blackburn, 20, of Joplin, received moderate injuries. Both were taken to Mercy Hospital in Cassville.
