Richard W. "Dick" Sybert, 75, of Golden, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012, in Skaggs Community Health Center, Branson.

He was born in Kansas City, Kan., on June 11, 1936, the son of Percy William and Victoria Marie (Hanson) Sybert. On May 22, 1993, in Wichita, Kan., he was united in marriage to Nancy K. Graham, who survives.

He is also survived by a stepdaughter, Deborah A. Parsons and her husband, Dan, of Wichita, Kan.; one sister, Alberta Gillespie, of Independence; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jack Jacobs.

He grew up and received his education in Kansas City, Kan., and Independence. He moved to Torrance, Calif., and started working with TWA and Western Airlines as a customer service agent. He was a mason and a member of the Elks Club in Mission, Texas, and Holiday Island, Ark.

A celebration of life was held Friday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Dan Parsons conducted the services.
