Elizabeth A. Taylor, 72, of Cassville, passed away at her home on Saturday, May 5, 2012.

She was born in Hamburg, N.Y., on Feb. 6, 1940, the daughter of Howard and Dorothy (Kitching) Carrow. She was united in marriage to William J. Andrews, Sr., who preceded her in death in 1978. On April 3, 1987, in Hesperia, Calif., she married Mel Taylor, who survives.

Additional survivors include: one son, Ron Taylor and his wife, Carol, of Cassville; two daughters, Debra Mulvehill and her husband, Bruce, of Exeter, and Lisa Cooper and her husband, Rick, of Cassville; one brother, Calvin Carrow, of Hamburg, N.Y.; two sisters, June Burlew, of Lakeland, Fla., and Dorothy Gray, of Sun City Center, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, William J. Andrews, Jr. and James Michael Andrews, her parents, and one brother, Howard Carrow.

She grew up in New York and graduated from Orchard Park High School in 1957. She worked at a travel agency and for Texas International Airline. She also drove a truck for Tyson's and became very involved in trucking with her husband, Mel. She was a member of Community Faith Chapel, Cassville and a partner with her husband in Let God Be God Ministry.

A celebration of life was held Tuesday in Community Faith Chapel, Cassville. Pastor Doyle Russell conducted the services.
