Dianne Mary Moon, 65, of Cassville, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Cox South in Springfield. She was born on July 22, 1946, to Edward and Alice (Silvey) Nicodemus in Elkhart, Kan. She lived in Brownsville, Ore., for many years until moving to the area eight years ago. In 1982, she married Vernon Moon. He preceded her in death on Aug. 7, 1995.

Survivors include: three sons, Jackie Burnette and his wife, Kim, of Fayetteville, Ark., Johnnie Burnette and his wife, Traci, of Arrey, N.M., and Bobby Burnette, of Cassville; one daughter, Violet Moon, and her husband, Kirk, of Brownsville, Ore.; 24 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, one sister, Verlea Thomas, of Exeter; and one brother, Victor Nicodemus, of Wyoming. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Nicodemus, and one great- grandson.

Cremations arrangements were under the direction of White Funeral Home & Crematory, Cassville.
