On Tuesday, two local men were seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash on Highway 37 one mile south of Cassville.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a 1994 Ford Mustang, driven by Johnathon M. Larson, 23, of Cassville, ran off the roadway and overturned.
Larson was transported to Mercy Hospital Cassville by ambulance. His passenger, Nathen D. Libertus, 22, of Eagle Rock, was airlifted to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
Neither Larson nor Libertus were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, which occurred at 2:54 p.m.
