Museum volunteers honored

Wednesday, April 25, 2012
The Barry County Museum celebrated National Volunteer Month with a special volunteer appreciation luncheon on April 5. All museum volunteers were invited to the event, which offered lunch catered by Geraldi's. Volunteers received a certificate for volunteer hours and a small gift during the event. Barry County Museum volunteers make items for the museum gift shop, make repairs to donated items, help build exhibit displays and assist with school and group tours. Volunteers are also available to assist museum visitors throughout the day on Saturdays.
