CHS choir students earn I and II ratings

Cassville High School choir students recently participated in the district choir competition, bringing home a number of superior ratings. Soloists earning I ratings and advancing to state include: Courtney Parnell, Anthony Harris, Adrianna Fine, Levi Pollreisz, Audra Shumaker, Austin Deffenbaugh and Caleb Roller. The following small ensemble groups also earned I ratings: Jacob Hall, Anthony Harris, Brad Lueckenhoff, Taylor Dodson, Mariah Willard, Emily Brewer, Kaelin Johnson and Bridges Madison; Austin Deffenbaugh, Michael Angel, Gage Holloway, Caleb Roller, Brittany Clark, Mikala Deffenbaugh, Adrianna Fine and Jordan Guss; Jade Holloway, Kelsey Roney, Caroline Carr, Sophia Mueller, Britani Long and Skilar Beaulieu; Parker Skinner, Juan Dove, Levi Pollreisz, Hise Williams, Audra Shumaker, Cheyenne Beaulieu, Julia Finocchiaro and Katie Sewell; Mikala Deffenbaugh, Katie Sewell, Audra Shumaker and Emily Brewer; and Cassidy Larson, Nicole McGuffey, Hali Faber, Cheyenne Beaulieu, T.J. Matthews, Taylor Dodson, Ethan Reidlinger and Tyler Hill. Students earning II ratings and also advancing to state are: soloists Samye Bourshaski, Nicole McGuffey, Kristen Cox, Hali Faber, Mikala Deffenbaugh and Jeanne Moua; and small ensemble group members Korissa Latta, Amanda Jackson, Kaylee Hudson, Jayce Fink, Erica Brattin, Audry Holman, Chelsea Popanz, Miranda Gaches, Julie Shoemaker, Kaitlin Sexton, Staci Day, Savanna Hobbs, Jacob Keefer, Trevor Carney, Halcyon Moua, River Evans, Chantel Martin, Jennifer Allison, Ashleigh Lawrence, Brianna Dittmar, Levi Boxley, Chad Norman, Joseph Paddock, Isaiah Herbert, Hannah Herbert, Destiny Cackley, Brittany Clark, Marissa Simmons, Kasey Durm, Alex Hang, Mary Higgins, Alana Holt, Kelsey McAuley, Jeanne Moua, Paige Stockton, Valerie Salinas, Carla Vail, Shelby Robinson, Megan Skinner, Samantha Groth, Kristen Cox, Brooke Harris, Tyler Mitchell, Kyle Hayslip, David Griffith, Zach Rabourn, Chantel Martin, Courtney Parnell, Samye Bourshaski and Dodie Becker. The Cassville show choirs will perform their competition selections during a free concert in the high school gymnasium at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 26.
