The Barry County Museum will host a book signing for the 17th volume of "Lifetimes of Memories: Voices of Barry County" from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, April 27.
The newest volume of "Lifetimes of Memories" features Doyle Bowman, Ralph Hilburn and Dortha (Bush) Roller.
"Lifetimes of Memories: Voices of Barry County" is a compilation of an oral history project that has been conducted by Schrediah Mahurin since June of 2005. In order to collect the narratives for the "Lifetimes of Memories" series, Mahurin interviewed dozens of individuals about their lives in Barry County. Those tape-recorded interviews were transcribed into the written narratives that can be found in the "Lifetimes of Memories" volumes.
Light refreshments will be served, and narrators and family members will be on hand to sign autographs and visit with those attending the book signing event.
The Barry County Museum is located on Highway 112 south of Cassville.
