Champ J. "J.R." Marney, Jr., 66, of Rocky Comfort, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012, in Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. Burial will be at Rocky Comfort Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton.
