Butterfield Council approves purchase orders

The Butterfield City Council approved eight purchase orders at its regularly scheduled meeting on Feb. 20.

The following purchase amounts and items were approved: $30, two green street signs; $512.54, maintenance parts from USA Bluebook; $62.60, maintenance parts from Water Products; $70, police car maintenance; $128, city truck maintenance; $99.98, tactical uniform pants; $32, polo shirt for police chief; and $157.20, USA Bluebook chlorine packets.

In other business, the Butterfield City Council:

* Approved the January wastewater and water system reports.

* Heard that the city's water loss increased to 16.73 percent in January.
