Crowder College will host an informational transfer fair from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18 at the Cassville campus, located at 4020 N. Main St.
The fair will provide opportunities for students to visit with representatives from approximately 12 four-year schools or other advanced training.
"There will be representatives from Pittsburg State University, the University of Arkansas and technical schools, online universities and nursing programs, as well as a number of in-state universities and colleges," said Helen Hale, Crowder's academic resource center coordinator. "For those that have received their associate's degree, the process is streamlined."
Hale said a representative will visit with students about their areas of interest and additional program requirements needed to earn a four-year degree.
For those unable to attend the Wednesday event, additional transfer fairs will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11 at the Webb City campus and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, at the Neosho campus.
"If all else fails, we will make an individual appointment for the student with a representative from the school of their choice to discuss the process," Hale said.
