CHS earns awards at Redbird Relays

The Cassville Wildcats picked up a number of awards at the annual Webb City Redbird Relays on Monday. Ozark won both the boys and girls divisions, scoring 187.5 and 157.5 points respectively. Cassville's boys scored 41, and the Lady Wildcats amassed 78.

Josh Lannum led the Cassville contingent, winning gold in both throwing events.

Results for the Cassville girls:

First place

* 100-meter: Calisia Brookes, 13.4

Second place

* Pole vault: Becca Haney, 8'6".

* Long jump: Danielle Pianalto, 15'1".

* 100-meter: Pianalto, 13.5.

Third place

* Triple jump: Jade Holloway, 30'4".

Results for the Cassville boys:

First place

* Shot: Josh Lannum, 46'9".

* Discus: Lannun, 155'-2'.

Second place

* 110-meter hurdles: Cody Frana, 15.6.

Third place

* 300-meter hurdles: Frana, 41.0.
