William "Bud" Walters, 46, of Pierce City, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012, in Cox South Hospital following a long illness.
He was born Oct. 6, 1965, in Bakersfield, Calif., to Melvin and Barbara "Owens" Walters. He drove a concrete truck for Kay Concrete Company in Monett and previously had his own plumbing company in Cassville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie; his brother, Lee Walters; and sister, Tammy Walters; and his grandparents, Hurschel and Edna Owens and Bud and Verna Walters.
Survivors include: his siblings, Melvin "Kirk" Walters and his wife, Linda, of Pierce City, Jeremy Clark, of Cassville, Devin Walters, of Malberry, Ark., and Ruthie Townsend and her husband, Tom, of Seligman.
Memorial services will be held in the Washburn First Baptist Church on Saturday, March 31 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Glenn Erwin officiating.
