Delores Virginia Hutchens, 80, of Neosho, died March 23, 2012, at Granby House Nursing Home, following a lengthy illness.

She was born March 7, 1932, in Fredonia, Kan., the daughter of Perry and Lorena (Koch) Hampton. She was a lifelong area resident, spending most of her life in the Cassville area and worked as a clerk for Sater Pharmacy in Cassville. She was a member of the Granby Christian Church. She married Ervin Laughlin, and he preceded her in death in November 1959. then she married Earl Hutchens, who preceded her in death in 1972.

Survivors include: two daughters, Jane Mehrens and husband, John, of Neosho, and Virginia Ellis and husband, James, of Cinncinati, Ohio; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Kenneth Hampton, of Tulsa, Okla.

In addition to her spouses and parents, she is preceded in death by an infant sister.

Services were held Tuesday, at the Granby Christian Church, Brother John Mehrens officiated. Private interment followed at the Stone Cemetery.
