SUPPORT GROUP: Anyone who is concerned about a friend's or loved one's drinking is invited to attend the Cassville Al-Anon Family Group, which meets at 8 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Cassville.

FUNDRAISER: Soroptimist International of Barry County will host a potato bake at the Cassville United Methodist Church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Meals will cost $7 each. Proceeds will benefit Soroptimist projects.

MEETING: Pythagoras Masonic Lodge #383 in Cassville will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Lodge building on Business 37.

CLASS: The Cassville Senior Center will host a paint class at 9 a.m.

BLOOD DRIVE: Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will hold a blood drive at Southwest High School in Washburn from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

FUN AND GAMES: The Cassville Senior Center will host fun and games at 12:30 p.m.

SUPPORT GROUP: A diabetes support group will meet in Mercy Hospital Cassville conference room C from 2 to 3 p.m. For more information, call Judy Carver, RD, CDE, at 847-6019.

FUNDRAISER: South Barry County Relay For Life will host Baking For Life at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center in Cassville from 7 to 9 p.m. The event will offer a bake-off and auction. Proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.

MOVIE: The Cassville Branch Library will show the second installment of a penguin tale at 4 p.m. The movie is rated PG, and families are encouraged to bring snacks.


Saturday, March 17

FUNDRAISER: The Jenkins Fire Department will host a chili and soup supper at fire station #1 from 4 to 7 p.m. Adult meals will cost $6, and children 10 and under can eat for $4.
