Mary Lou Sneed, 67, of Exeter, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012, in Freeman Hospital West, Joplin.

She was born June 10, 1944, in Boise, Idaho, the daughter of Alonzo "Lon" and Zuma (Roberts) Bolen. On Dec. 1, 1967, in Stillwater, Okla., she was united in marriage to Clifford Sneed, who survives.

Additional survivors include: three sons, Randy Sneed and his wife, Chris, of Seligman, Gregg Sneed, of Newtonia, and Geoff Sneed, of Exeter; five daughters, Janene Gaylord and her husband, Steve, of Valley View, Texas, Barbara Hall and her husband, Hank, of Stillwater, Okla., Sandra Still, of Crane, Sharleen Sneed, of Jay, Okla., and LaNetta McCord and her husband, Charlie, of Purdy; one brother, Lonnie Bolen and his wife, Judy, of Bokchito, Okla.; two sisters, Carol Short, of Cushing, Okla., and Alma Fisk, of Boise, Idaho; 19 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She grew up and received her education in Oklahoma, graduating from Ripley High School and furthered her education at a vo-technical school in Oklahoma City. In 1985, she moved from Stillwater, Okla., to southwestern Missouri to make her home. She was a member of Community Faith Church in Cassville.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Doyle Russell will conduct the services. Burial will be in Sparks Cemetery, Butterfield.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
