Thomas Bruce Duncan, 77, of Cassville, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2012, at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.

He was born Dec. 22, 1934, in Cassville, the son of Bob and Amanda (Starkey) Duncan. On July 3, 1959, in Washburn, he was united in marriage to Thelma "Arvilla" Edwards, who survives.

Additional survivors include: eight children, daughter, Joyce Stephens and her husband, Bobby, of Cassville; daughter, Anita Reed and her husband, Dean, of Cassville; daughter, Wanda Brown and her husband, Lonnie, of Crane; son, Thomas "Mike" Duncan, of Cassville; daughter, Susie Cape and her husband, David, of Cassville; daughter, Marlene White and her husband, Bub, of Crane; daughter, Marlena Learned and her husband, Trevor, of Seligman; and son, Steve Duncan and his wife, Kristi, of Seligman; one brother, William Duncan and his wife, Sue, of Cassville; 21 grandchildren; and 20 great- grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two sisters, Mattie and Lena Stockton; two brothers, Omie Hampton and George Erwin; one grandson, Billy Joe Stephens; and one great- grandson, Mason Conner Reed.

He was a life-long resident of Cassville, living on the same farm where he was born. He received his education at the Gaddis Rural School. He was a long-time employee of Forest Products in Cassville.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Brother Terry Bailie will conduct the services. Burial will be at Mineral Springs Cemetery, Cassville.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today (Wednesday) in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
