Cassville home destroyed by fire

Wednesday, March 7, 2012

Democrat Photo/Lindsay Reed On Tuesday, Cassville Fire Protection District volunteer firefighters spent several hours battling a blaze at a vacant home located at the corner of Seventh and Mill streets in Cassville. The windy weather made it difficult for firefighters to extinguish the fire, which engulfed much of the house. MGE, Barry Electric, the Barry County Sheriff's Department, the Cassville Police Department and Cassville Public Works Department assisted with the emergency by blocking streets and disconnecting utility services. The home is a total loss.
