Glenn Douglas "Doug" Keeler, 69, of Cassville, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, at his home.
He was born Sept. 26, 1942, in Topeka, Kan., the son of Josephine Keeler-Welch, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his grandparents and one grandson, Shane Douglas Keeler.
Survivors include: two sons, Lance Keeler and his wife, Julie, of Purdy, and Shannon Keeler and his wife, Gina, of Purdy; three daughters, Stacey Williams and her husband, Craig, of Purdy, Tonya Keeler, of Purdy, and Shelby Keeler, of Cassville; one stepson, Billy Yocum and his wife, Venissa, of Cassville; one sister, Susie Lucas and her husband, Luke, of Hollister; and nine grandchildren.
He grew up in Kansas and graduated from Moline High School in Moline, Kan. In 1977, he moved from Goodland, Kan., to the southwest Missouri area to make his home. For several years, he was employed as a machine operator for Fasco, from which he retired.
Graveside services were held Saturday in Bethel Cemetery, Purdy, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Russ Neill conducted the services.
