On Friday, Tractor Supply Company hosted a special "soft" opening event to welcome area community members to the new store, which is located on Old Exeter Road in the old True Value Hardware building.

Robin Hensley, store manager, Richard Murphy, assistant store manager, and other members of the Tractor Supply Company Cassville store staff greeted those who attended the special event. Staff members were available to offer customer service throughout the three-hour celebration.

Around 100 local community members received a special invitation to the "soft" opening, which offered refreshments, a drawing for a $100 gift card and a chance to shop the new store. The event was attended by City of Cassville officials, local business owners and other professional leaders.

"Tractor Supply and the City of Cassville were pleased and proud by the number of community and business leaders who showed up for the opening event last Friday," said Lynette Dilbeck, Cassville economic development director. "This is a strong indication of the need for the products and services Tractor Supply Company offers and how the Cassville area will support this national retail addition.

"Store Manager Robin Hensley and her staff put on a great event and said it was quite successful," said Dilbeck. "Tractor Supply Company has been a joy to work with, from the national and regional offices down to the new local staff. We appreciate their professionalism and what they bring to Cassville."

Tractor Supply Company offers a large selection of tools, apparel, animals supplies, lawn and garden products, toys and gifts. The store carries Wolverine, Carhartt, Wrangler, Ingersoll Rand, Hobart, DeWalt, Purina, Nutro, Nutrena, Science Diet, Pfiser, Iams and a variety of other name brands.

Tractor Supply Company will host its grand opening celebration on Saturday, March 3. Store hours are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

"Tractor Supply Company is very excited to be here," said Corey Hollis, Tractor Supply Company district manager. "We are all happy to be a part of the Cassville community."
