Circuit court clerk to run for public administrator

Pam Modlin, of Wheaton, has announced her plans to run for the office of Barry County public administrator.

Modlin, a graduate of Aurora High School, also attended Missouri State University. She has worked as deputy clerk at the Barry County Circuit Court office for nine years. She was recently named chief deputy clerk.

"I'm interested in the opportunity to serve Barry County residents in a different fashion," said Modlin.

Prior to working for the court, Modlin was employed at the Missouri Veterans' Home in Mt. Vernon for eight years. She offered a variety of social services in the admissions and accounting office.

Modlin is married to Jackie Modlin, who manages the Cassville MFA.
