Around 40 community members attended the Wheaton Historical Society's Snowflake Tea at the Wheaton Depot Museum on Jan. 28. Those who attended the event had the opportunity to view the Winter White Display, a collection of around 300 fancy vintage needlework pieces. Attendees also enjoyed tea, punch and refreshments. Molly Smith served the tea on an antique silver tea service that was owned by her mother, Elizabeth Smith, of Wheaton. The Winter White Display can be viewed at the museum throughout the month of February. Area community members are invited to visit the museum to view the collection and other displays. The facility is open from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
