Loren L. Henry, 77, of Fairview, passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, in Freeman Neosho Hospital, Neosho.
He was born Aug. 12, 1934, in Washburn, the son of George E. and Freda (Morgan) Henry. On Jan. 14, 1961, he was united in marriage to Mary Garrison, who preceded him in death, and to this union three children were born. On March 27, 1995, he married Barbara (Taylor) Hill, who survives.
Additional survivors include: one son, Randy Henry, of Cassville; three daughters, Sheri Reeves and her husband, Leston, of Washburn, Missy Hendrix and her husband, Keith, of Washburn, and April Counts and her husband, Alan, of Stella; two brothers, Bill Henry, of Exeter, and Kenneth Henry, of Billings; and seven grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Glen Henry and Russell Henry; and one sister, Pauline Banks.
He received his education at Measle Prairie School. Most of his life was spent in Southwest Missouri, where he was a carpenter. From April 10, 1957, until April 7, 1959, he served in the United States Army as an air defense missile crewman. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Exeter.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
