The Bulldogs led 14-10 after the first quarter and 34-22 at halftime.
A huge third quarter gave Wheaton the lead for good as the Bulldogs outperformed Pierce City 21-5 to taken a 51-27 advantage into the fourth quarter.
Wheaton's Sean Goostree was impressive, scoring a game-high 31 points. Others adding to the Bulldogs' point total were: Jory Bartkoski 8; Kyle Robbins 7; Justin Yeary 6; Bubba Galvan 5; Chase Cantwell, Justin Walker and Jesse Mitchell, 3 each; and Matt Hickman 1.
Wayne Joe Sooter was the Eagles' high scorer with 15 points.
Wheaton takes on Marionville in the semi-final game, which was scheduled to take place last night.

The Lady Bulldogs earned their third win of the season by defeating McAuley Catholic 48-23 on the road Monday night.
After not playing a varsity schedule last season, the Wheaton ladies are gaining confidence and picking up some wins.
Against McAuley, the Lady Bulldogs were able to overcome a 6-5 first quarter disadvantage by outscoring the Lady Warriors 13-0 in the second frame.
It was more of the same in the final two quarters of the game as Wheaton scored 30 points to McAuley's 17 to secure the victory.
Wheaton scorers were: Kasey Littlefield 10; Shelby Medley and Daisy Alvarado, 8 each; Amanda Mundy, Kyle Brown and Mariah Kochell 6 each; and Sam Etzler and Kelly Alvarado 2 apiece.
